Newborn Cradles to Playful Steps: A My Queen Homecoming x RaaB Family

Last October, My Queen held our first-ever Homecoming event at HSBC Wealth Centre, a heartfelt reunion of Kings and Queens who had once spent their postpartum confinement journey with us. They returned this time not with swaddled newborns in their arms, but with bright-eyed toddlers and energetic little explorers we had not seen in months.

Babies who were once gently cradled by our healthcare assistants came back walking, talking, and brimming with personality. For our team, it was deeply moving. These were the very children they had bathed at midnight, soothed through their first cries, and watched over in their earliest days of life. Seeing them now thriving and confident was a beautiful reminder of how far they have come.

As we planned the gathering, one thing was clear: this reunion was not just for parents to reconnect, but for the “grown-up babies” to have a joyful space of their own. We wanted laughter, movement, and play. But just as importantly, we wanted safety because at My Queen, safety is never secondary to fun.

With the support of RaaB Family, we created a dedicated play corner thoughtfully designed for active little ones. The playpens were sturdy and stable, easily withstanding climbing, sliding, and the natural rough-and-tumble energy that comes with toddlers rediscovering friends. The eco-friendly material, smooth finishes, and secure structure gave us confidence that even with over thirty children present, the space remained controlled and dependable.

We intentionally chose equipment that allowed children to explore freely while parents felt at ease. RaaB Family playmats softened every step and tumble. The enclosed playpen structure created boundaries without restricting imagination. Older toddlers eagerly took turns on the astronaut inspired slide made with the same material for all RaaB Family playpens, filling the room with delighted laughter, the kind of sound that reminds us why these reunions matter.

For us, this Homecoming was not about recreating an indoor playground. It was about recreating care, extending the same attention to safety, detail, and quality that families experienced during confinement, now into a space of celebration and growth.

The event was a powerful reminder that My Queen’s commitment does not end when a mother checks out. We walk alongside families beyond the fourth trimester. Watching our once-tiny newborns return as strong, happy children remains our greatest reward and ensuring they can play, explore, and grow safely will always be part of who we are.
